A 2008 "Tricar" project. If you're coming in from Toronto because of a job transfer or to be closer to relatives or have retirement plans, you're looking around at what is available, you will quickly recognize this builder's name. Most people who have ever lived in a "Tricar" building have found their experience to be problem free.
How is this building different than other newer "Tricar" projects? Well in many ways it is not really all that much different. The two-bedroom units are particularly bright and spacious, there are penthouse units and there is a preponderance of one-bedroom units. What does this mean? One thing it means is that there are sixteen units on the 2nd to 11th floors. The one bedroom units are typically in the 707; 778; 825; 850 and 853 square foot range. One known top floor one bedroom unit is 901 square feet. One known top floor one bedroom unit is 901 square feet. Two bedroom units are in the 1383, 1400, 1492, and 1502 square feet range.
Two known condo fees in 2026 on a one bedroom unit are in the $301 and $382 range. One known condo dee in 2026 on a two bedroom unit is in the $639 per month range. The condo fees include the heat, water, building insurance, parking and common elements.
Oftentimes when units in this building come on the market for sale they are stated as being two bedroom units when in fact they are one bedroom plus den. The one bedroom units in the 700, 770, and 773 square feet range obviously are not marketed this way. Slightly larger units are sometimes marketed this way. How large are these apparently "second bedrooms"? Here are a few examples: 8.3x10, 8.5x10.1, 8.8x12.4, 8.9x10.1, and 12.4x7.4. For this exact reason, the average price indicators in this building might now be a totally reliable indicator of value.
Both underground and open parking. Some units have strange lockers. Some units have around- balconies. This building has an exercise room, party room, and a guest suite. This building has a friendly front entranceway with an easy pick- up and drop- off area. We also note that its rear views are a touch disappointing with views of neighbouring highrise rental areas.
"Tricar" has three downtown condo buildings. The new "Azure" building at 505 Talbot Street, the "Renaissance II" at 330 Ridout Street North, and the "Wellington Park" building at 250 Pall Mall Street.
