"Rembrandt Homes" built. Many of their design features have been carried over from other recent projects. One of their most recent project of a somewhat similar size and price range was the "Eleven-Ten" complex at 1110 Meadowlark Ridge (#29 on our South London Pond Mills Section).

"The Nest" freehold project is located in the far north-east section of London on a new street west of Highbury Avenue and just north of Fanshawe Park Road North. Here you will find one cluster of five units; two clusters of six units and two clusters of seven units all of which face directly onto the street. There is a new park called "Blackwell Park" and a retainer pond directly across the street to the north. See our pictures.

Light brown coloured exterior bricking with grey brick. Some lower front grey stone. Covered front entrances. Grey shingles, grey siding, black coloured garage doors. These are single car garage units with 1.5 car wide driveways with the exception of two centre interior units in three of these five clusters. These units only have open parking. If you are familiar with "Rembrandt's" building techniques you will know that this is one of their frequently used design features. Units forming part of the largest center cluster enjoy lower level walkouts.

* September 19th, 2020 was the official release date of these units and prices started around $460,000. That would be for the models with no garages. Thirty-one units with a waiting list of registered buyers being much larger than that.

Rembrandt used "in-house sales people" to sell these units. With a long list of buyers from the internet and with the hot markets of 2020, getting them all sold would be an easy thing to do.

An early July 2021 update. What happened? At this point in time why are these still brand new finished Rembrandt Homes with "For Sale" signs still on them? Why didn't they sell out last year if there were more buyers then units available for sale? Well we are not privy to any inside information as to what went on but we do know that prices on some new units like this have jumped up to the $600,000 price range! Rembrandt is one of the city's largest condo builders so they obviously have the pulse on the demand/supply side of the equations and they know that they are sitting on gold. In 2021-2023 Rembrandt has gone on to build the "Upper West" condo complex at 2261 Linkway Blvd. in far West London.
