Details:

What's this street like? Well, if you press the "view google map" icon, you will be struck with the greenery of the area. Many of the units in this complex have unobstructed seasoned views of the Windermere Fields where summer organized soccer events take place on a large scale.

"Skinner designed" and now over forty years old. Pricey condo fees, now somewhere in the $650.00/month price range in 2021 (this number includes a special assessment). Red brick exteriors, brick driveways, rose colored front doors, covered front entrances, white trim and flat roofs. A mix of single and double-car garages; the interior units have single-car garages and the end units have double-car garages and upper front corner bricked in patio areas. The units on the east side of the complex (one cluster of six and one cluster of eight) have lower level walkouts overlooking Stoney Creek Meadows. Unit sizes are quite large. Typical unit sizes have numbers like 2000, 2080, 2200 and 2350 sq. ft. High ceilings, some being twelve feet high. These units were built with wood-burning fireplaces.

Walk to an off-leash dog park to the north-east on Adelaide Street, or head to the crosswalk on Windermere Road and to the immediate west across the street, take the Stoney Creek Valley south-east paved trails up to the tennis courts at Hastings Park. Another option is to walk to the traffic lights at Tetterwood Boulevard and take a walkway to North Park, from there a brand new bridge over the North Thames River will whisk you quickly to the elbow in the road where Huron Street meets William Street. This is a very central north location.

Why aren't these million dollar condos? In some cities they would be. "Skinner" designs distinctive looking properties. Catch one if you can.
