Here is a comment which we don't make very often. In 2019 the average selling price of a two-bedroom unit went up in price by over $1,000 per week. But wait, that comment could be made about many other condo units in all parts of the city. But wait again. Look at what continued to happen in 2020, 2021 and the early part of 2022. This building has turned into a bank machine for the lucky people who have brought in only a few years ago. The new question is, are the boom markets over?

Bold and impressive and perched on a hill. The condo units in this building do not have balconies. At first look, it becomes quite apparent that its windows are oversized to allow in plenty of sunlight. 2022 saw the installation of new windows.The task of doing this is scheduled to be finished by the fall of 2023. First impressions might also leave one thinking that its parking is outdoors. That however, is not true as this building does have underground parking. Note the river views. This sixteen story high rise building with 14 units per floor (half facing west, half facing east) is one storey taller than the 1103-1105 Jalna Blvd. condo building and two storeys higher than the 860 Commissioners Road East condo building. These three aforementioned addresses are really all there is to pick from in the way of highrise condos in the south and south east ends of the city.

Features include an outside Common Area with a gazebo, picnic tables and barbeques, exercise centre, sauna, whirlpool and a social room. Known one bedroom unit sizes are 650; 695; 705; 720; 740; 750 and 760 square feet. Two bedroom unit sizes are 800; 884; 900; 926; 950; 956 and 995 square feet.

What is slightly unusual about the location of this building is that there is not any shopping available within walking distance. Living here does require a car. Yes, there is bus service , however, it seems to meander, at times, on its way to get downtown. Yet having said this, if one does have a car then the route to downtown is quick and easy along Hamilton Road. The 401 is also relatively easy to get to from this location.

Views of the river, walking trails and a baseball diamond. The "Rivers Edge" enjoys its own special feeling of space and privacy. Pets are allowed in this building.
