Details:

Out of all the condos in this pocket of “Westmount” these are the ones with the most angular exterior appearances. A treed setting with wonderful spacings between clusters. Some garage styles have flat roofs while others have rooflines pitched sideways to create an angular appearance. Brown brick, multi-level in design. Built mostly in clusters of five, six and seven units. Some units with detached front garages have front fenced in patio areas. A mix of three and four upper bedrooms. The end units are of a different one level design.

To the immediate west of these units are streets like Brixham Crescent, Farnham Crescent and McMaster Court. These Brixham Crescent condos tend to cost just a little bit more than others in the immediate neighbourhood.

108-144 McMaster Drive

Built in one cluster of ten units and one cluster of nine units. All face directly onto McMaster Drive. Light sand brick colour and vinyl siding. A mix of two storey and multi-level designed units. The two storey units have three upper bedrooms and the multi-level units have four upper bedrooms. All have single car garages. Directly behind these units is the “Westmount Park” with an access into it to the immediate west of these units. Beyond the park are schools and soccer fields and beyond that the Westmount Mall.

In this neighbourhood 13% own, 87% rent, 53% live in apartments, 39% row houses and 8% single family homes. English is the dominant language spoken at 61% followed by Arabic at 14%. The labelling given to the dominant market group is “Young and Connected”. Only 9% of the population is 65 years of age and older.

101-109 McMaster Drive, 8-38 McMaster Crescent, 881-917 Dalhousie Drive

Front brick or stone and vinyl siding. Built mostly in clusters of eight. Brick or stone fronts with beige vinyl siding. A mix of two storey and three storey models. Two storey models may have attached or detached front garages and have front courtyards. The three storey or multi-level units may have raised upper second level rear decks. Other complexes in this neighbourhood with different exterior colours mimics many of these design features.

937-985 Dalhousie Drive

Clusters of 5, 7, 7 and 6. Brick/stone and blue coloured vinyl siding. A mix once again of two storey and multi-level units. Some units have detached garages.

2-14 Dalhousie Crescent, 40-68 McMaster Crescent

Once again, a mix of two storey and multi-level designs. These units are blue in colour. The two storey units have detached front garages and front courtyards. Less than a five minute walk away from the new “Bostwick Community Centre”.

30-64 Dalhousie Crescent, 23-57 McMaster Crescent

“Sifton” built like most of the other condos in this neighbourhood. For many years real estate agents working in this neighbourhood referred to these properties as “island homes”. These are detached units with no condo fees.

A variety of exterior colours which are brick and vinyl. Single car garages except for four units which have double car garages. These are all one floor houses with the exception of two houses which are of a two level design. Often marketed as being a great condo alternative without the monthly fee.
